Materials

  • 14 ounces (400g) oreo cookies plus 3 extra Oreo cookies for sprinkling
  • 8 ounces (225g) cream cheese softened to room temp
  • 1 cup white chocolate melts
  • 1 cup dark chocolate melts
  • ¼ cup heavy cream

Instructions

  • Put the Oreo cookies in a blender, along with the cream cheese. Blend until you get a smooth mixture of the two ingredients.
  • Line a shallow tray or cutting board with parchment paper.
  • Using a loaded teaspoon at a time, roll small balls of the Oreo mixture.
  • Place onto the parchment paper and into the freezer for about 45-60 minutes to cool down. This will help the chocolate coat them more easily.
  • In 2 medium bowls, melt the chocolate in a microwave or over a water bath. Add half of the cream to the dark chocolate and the other half to the white chocolate and mix well to combine.
  • Mash 3 Oreo cookies and set aside.
  • Allow the chocolate to cool a little before rolling the Oreo balls in it. When you dip your finger in it, it shouldn't feel hot.
  • Dip each of the Oreo balls into the melted chocolate.
  • Sprinkle the chocolate covered Oreo balls with the extra crushed Oreo. Place back in the freezer for about 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

Store
Store leftover Oreo balls in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
They can also be frozen, however you will want to give them time to thaw before eating.
