Milo Balls Recipe

Quick and easy, this milo balls recipe is a great one to have on hand for a yummy little sweet addition to the lunchbox. Easily prepped ahead of time and stored in the fridge for freezer, and uses only a handful of ingredients.

Materials

  • 250 grams plain sweet biscuits see notes
  • 1 cup desiccated coconut
  • ½ cup milo powder or any malted milk powder
  • 397 grams sweetened condensed full fat milk
  • extra desiccated coconut to roll

Instructions

  • In a high powered food processor, blitz the biscuits until they resemble crumbs.

  • Add the coconut, milo, and sweetened condensed milk and blend to combine. The mixture is ready when it all comes together in one clump.

  • Using a tablespoon, scoop one tablespoon of the mixture at a time into a ball and then roll in the extra coconut to coat.

  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 7 days, or in the freezer for up to 1 month.

Notes

Biscuits
Any plain biscuit will do. I have used Arnott's Marie, Arnott's milk arrowroot, Digestives, and Rich Tea biscuits, and they have all worked fine.
For something less sweet, you can replace the biscuits with weetbix.
